VCE 2.1.0 released with free evaluation package.


VCE 2.1.0 has just been released today as the first major update to the award winning network library. Now developers can take advantage of the ability to operate appliances on the local network, specially designed load balancing tool plus many more to make real-time network applications more easily, safely and quickly.

VCE 2.1.0 includes the following new features.

  • Compression: Data compression and expansion for communications.
  • Proxy: This tool intermediates between a server and client created with VCE, allowing load dispersion for transmission data between the two.
  • Finder: Search out listeners and target applications on the local network and automatically connect to them.
  • UPnP: Operate appliances and other devices on the local network with VCE. VCE provides functions primarily for operating a router connected to a PC and otherwise effectively using the network.
  • Local loopback: Connect to oneself as a client.
  • Ping at regular intervals: Ping other devices at regular intervals.
  • Interface to the RSA encryption algorithm.
  • Interface to block cipher algorithms.
  • Interface to the MT pseudo-random number generator.
